Bubble Magus REEF-FREE Bio-Calcium is ideal calcium additives for reef aquaria. Many creatures live in reef area need calcium to grow, include corals, clams, coraline algae, etc. Corals could precipitate calcium carbonate in its skeleton with the help from zooxanthellae live in the tissue, and grow in this way, REEF-FREE Bio-Calcium is the ideal source of both calcium carbonate for the corals and carbon dioxide for the zooxanthellae.

REEF-FREE Bio-Calcium will not influence pH like many other calcium supplements does. REEF-FREE Bio-Calcium could also supply many important trace elements such as iodide?strontium and molybdenum. The concentration of calcium in natural sea water is 420ppm, we recommend keeping calcium level of reef aquarium at 380ppm-450ppm.

Usage: Calculate the total system water volume, being sure to take into account volume of live rock, external filters and sumps. Each level measuring spoonful (5 ml) raises the calcium level of 5 gallons (US)/4 gallons (Imp) of system water by 28 ppm.

Maximum recommended dose is one level scoop for each 5 gallons (US) / 4 galons (Imp) of tank water per day.
